Antibody detects endogenous levels of total LTK.
Target Information
LTK (TYK1), ALK, and Ros are receptor tyrosine kinases with sequence similarity to the insulin receptor subfamily.
LTK (leukocyte tyrosine kinase) is expressed in murine B-lymphocyte precursors and forebrain neurons.
ALK (anaplastic lymphoma kinase) is highly expressed in the nervous system, and a truncated form containing its catalytic domain is expressed due to translocations in many non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas.
The c-Ros gene was originally identified as an oncogene and is expressed in limited epithelial cell types, potentially playing a role in epithelial development.
