Target Information
EIF2a (Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2A)는 α, β, γ 세 개의 서브유닛으로 구성된 이종삼합체입니다. 이 인자(eIF2)는 개시 메티오닐-tRNA를 40S 리보솜에 AUG 의존적으로 결합시켜 43S pre-initiation complex를 형성합니다. 스트레스 반응 시 활성화된 단백질 키나아제에 의해 EIF2A가 인산화되며, 인산화된 EIF2A는 EIF2B 활성을 억제하여 구아닌 뉴클레오타이드 교환을 방해합니다.
