Target Information
Sprouty-1과 -2는 내피세포의 성장인자 신호를 억제하는 막-연관 인산화 단백질 억제제입니다. 포유류에서는 Sprouty-1~4가 확인되었으며, Sprouty-1과 -2는 FGF 및 VEGF 유도 증식과 분화를 억제하여 MAP kinase 활성화를 억제합니다. Sprouty 단백질은 Ras/MAP kinase 경로의 내인성 억제제로, 폐, 신장 세뇨관, 혈관계, 유관 등의 가지 형성 조직 발달에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 Sprouty-1과 -2는 유방암에서 종양 억제 활성을 가질 수 있으며, 이 단백질들이 유방암 조직에서 일관되게 발현이 감소된 것으로 보고되었습니다.
