Rat anti-Mouse IgG2a Heavy Chain antibody, clone LO-MG2a-9 recognizes the mouse gamma 2a heavy chain, binding to all allotypes and does not cross-react with other murine immunoglobulin classes or subclasses.

Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins and are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target.
Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility, enabling the use of multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence). They provide greater sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
