Target Information

MSP (또는 MST1)은 hepatic growth factor와 유사한 네 개의 kringle 도메인과 serine protease 도메인을 포함합니다. Serine protease 도메인이 존재하지만, 단백질은 실제로 프로테올리틱 활성을 가지지 않을 수 있습니다. 이 단백질의 수용체는 RON tyrosine kinase이며, 활성화 시 섬모 상피 세포의 섬모 운동을 자극합니다. MSP는 분비되어 α-체인과 β-체인으로 절단되며, 두 체인은 이황화 결합으로 연결되어 있습니다.
