Actin 필라멘트를 안정화시켜 세포 내 구조를 유지하며, actin 불안정화로 인한 세포 사멸을 방지합니다. 또한 AHR 경로에서 전사 활성화를 위한 AHR 농도를 증가시키며, PML 및 DAPK1의 유비퀴틴 매개 분해를 억제하여 종양 억제 기능을 보호합니다.
인플루엔자 A 바이러스 감염 시 HNRNPK와 상호작용하여 M1 mRNA의 대체 스플라이싱을 조절, M2 단백질 생성을 촉진합니다.
