Target Information
In infectious mononucleosis, anti-EBNA-1 antibodies cross-react with multiple normal human proteins due to anti-gly/ala antibody binding to similar configurations in EBNA-1 repeat regions.
One such antigen is RALY, a member of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein gene family.
