This product is preservative-free. To prevent contamination, it is recommended to add sodium azide to a final concentration of 0.05%–0.1%.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
DIABLO (SMAC) is a mitochondrial protein that activates apoptosis by neutralizing members of the IAP family of apoptosis inhibitory proteins. During apoptotic events, Smac exits the mitochondria and enters the cytosol, facilitating mitochondrial-mediated apoptosis essential for normal development and tissue homeostasis.
Alterations in this pathway are associated with various malignancies. Smac/DIABLO also plays a key role in sensitizing cancer cells to apoptosis induced by immune or drug stimuli.
