Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the EPS8 family. The protein contains one PH domain and one SH3 domain and functions as part of the EGFR pathway. Although its exact role is undetermined, similar proteins participate in Ras-to-Rac signal transduction and growth factor-mediated actin remodeling. Alternate transcriptional splice variants have been observed but not thoroughly characterized.
