Target Information
MARVELD1 (MARVEL domain-containing 1)은 MARVEL (MAL and related proteins for vesicle trafficking and membrane link) 도메인을 포함한 단백질 중 하나입니다. 이 단백질은 핵에 위치하며, 정상 인체 조직 전반에 널리 발현됩니다. 대장암에서 과발현된 것으로 보고되었으나, 난소, 유방, 신장, 방광, 간 등 여러 주요 종양에서는 발현 수준이 낮습니다. 이러한 발현 감소는 MARVELD1 프로모터의 높은 메틸화 상태와 관련이 있으며, 5-aza-2'-deoxycytidine 처리 시 발현이 회복됨이 관찰되었습니다. 이는 MARVELD1 발현 손실이 종양 형성에 기여할 가능성을 시사합니다.
