Target Information
Fis1은 17 kDa의 막 단백질로, 미토콘드리아 분열 기구의 구성 요소입니다. 중심 leucine-zipper 도메인, coiled-coil 영역, tetratricopeptide 반복 도메인 및 C-말단 막관통 도메인을 포함합니다. 인간 Fis1은 효모 Fis1p의 orthologue로, 외부 미토콘드리아 막에 위치하며 DLP1 및 Mdv1p와 상호작용하여 Dnm1p를 기능적 분열 복합체로 모집함으로써 세포자멸(apoptosis)을 유도합니다. 또한 peroxisome의 성장 및 분열에도 관여합니다. Fis1 결손은 apoptosis 억제 및 미토콘드리아의 신장으로 이어집니다.
