Target Information
The SEC13 protein is part of the SEC13 family of WD-repeat proteins and is found in the endoplasmic reticulum and nuclear pore complex. It is similar to yeast SEC13, which is essential for vesicle biogenesis during ER-to-Golgi protein transport. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified.
