Target Information
C10orf32 (chromosome 10 open reading frame 32) is a 105 amino acid protein belonging to the UPF0693 family. The gene encoding C10orf32 maps to human chromosome 10, which spans nearly 135 million base pairs and encodes approximately 1,200 genes. Chromosome 10 includes genes for chemokines, cadherins, excision repair proteins, early growth response factors (Egrs), and fibroblast growth receptors (FGFRs). Mutations in genes on chromosome 10 are linked to disorders such as Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, Jackson-Weiss syndrome, Usher syndrome, nonsyndromic deafness, Wolman’s syndrome, Cowden syndrome, multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2, and porphyria.
