Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
HMG20A plays a role in neuronal differentiation as a chromatin-associated protein. It acts as an inhibitor of HMG20B and counteracts the repressive effects of the neuronal silencer REST, leading to activation of neuronal-specific genes. It is involved in recruitment of the histone methyltransferase KMT2A/MLL1, resulting in increased methylation of histone H3 lysine 4.
