Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
S100A9 (also known as MRP-14) belongs to the S100 family of calcium-binding proteins containing two EF-hand motifs.
These proteins are localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus and are involved in regulating various cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation.
S100 genes are clustered on chromosome 1q21 and include at least 13 members.
Altered expression of S100A9 is associated with cystic fibrosis and may play a role in inhibiting casein kinase activity.
