Target Information
Epidermal growth factor-like protein 7 (EGFL7), also known as VE-statin, MEGF7, Notch4-like protein or Zneu1, is a 29.6 kDa protein produced and secreted by endothelium. It is expressed in both normal and malignant tissues and plays a key role in regulating angiogenesis and vasculogenesis. High levels of EGFL7 are found in tissues undergoing active angiogenesis in various disorders.
