Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The protein encoded by the ARHGEF9 gene is a Rho-like GTPase that alternates between active and inactive states to regulate CDC42 and other genes. Mutations in this gene are associated with startle disease with epilepsy (hyperekplexia with epilepsy). Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
