Target Information

MAP3K7 (TAK1) regulates transcription and apoptosis and is linked to inflammatory diseases and rheumatoid arthritis. Fusion with MAP3K7IP1 (TAB1) activates MAP3K7. TAK1 interacts with TGF-β receptor and TRAF6 to modulate activation of JNK and p38, and participates in Wnt, BMP, activin, and thyroid hormone signaling. TAB1 serves as a regulator and activator of TAK1 kinase involved in TGF-β, IL-1, and WNT-1 signaling pathways.
