Target Information
IL-10은 주로 단핵구(monocyte)에서 생성되는 사이토카인으로, 면역조절 및 염증 반응에 중요한 역할을 합니다. Th1 사이토카인, MHC class II 항원 및 공동자극 분자의 발현을 억제하며, B 세포의 생존, 증식 및 항체 생산을 촉진합니다. 또한 NF-kappa B 활성을 차단하고 JAK-STAT 신호전달 경로의 조절에 관여합니다. 마우스 knockout 연구에서는 장내 면역조절에 필수적인 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났습니다. IL10 유전자 변이는 HIV-1 감염 및 류머티즘 관절염 감수성과 관련이 있습니다. 관련 질환으로는 Graft-Versus-Host Disease 및 Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1이 있습니다.
