Invitrogen™ CellROX™ Deep Red Flow Cytometry Assay Kit

The CellROX™ Deep Red Flow Cytometry Assay Kit enables the flow cytometric detection of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in live cells.
This kit includes:

• CellROX™ Deep Red Reagent (fluorogenic probe)
• SYTOX™ Blue dead cell stain
• N-acetyl cysteine (antioxidant, for negative control)
• tert-butyl hydroperoxide solution (TBHP, ROS inducer)

The CellROX™ Deep Red Detection Reagent is cell-permeable and non-fluorescent (or weakly fluorescent) in its reduced state. Upon oxidation, it exhibits a strong fluorogenic signal with absorption/emission maxima of 644/665 nm, remaining localized in the cytoplasm.
Used together with SYTOX™ Blue Dead Cell Stain, oxidatively stressed and non-stressed cells can be reliably distinguished from dead cells by flow cytometry.
