Target Information
Zinc finger proteins contain DNA-binding domains and have a wide variety of functions, most of which encompass transcriptional activation or repression. Most zinc finger proteins possess a Krueppel-type DNA binding domain and a KRAB domain, which interacts with KAP1 to recruit histone-modifying proteins.
Zinc finger protein 75 (ZNF75), also known as ZNF82, is a 289 amino acid member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc finger protein family. Localized to the nucleus, ZNF75 contains five C2H2-type zinc fingers and one KRAB domain, involved in DNA binding and transcriptional regulation.
