Rab 6A는 Rab 단백질 패밀리의 구성원으로, 골지막에 위치하며 후기 엔도솜에서 골지를 거쳐 소포체(ER)로의 역행 수송을 조절합니다.
대체 스플라이싱에 의해 세 가지 아이소폼이 존재하며, Rab 6A’ 및 Rab 6A는 광범위하게 발현되고, Rab 6B는 뇌 특이적으로 발현됩니다.
