AKT3 (PKB gamma)는 platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), insulin, insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF1)에 의해 자극받는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
이 단백질은 세포 증식, 분화, 세포사멸, 종양형성, 글리코겐 합성 및 포도당 흡수 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에 관여합니다.
