Target Information
REST (RE1-silencing transcription factor)는 뉴런 제한적 억제 요소(NRSE)에 결합하여 비신경 세포에서 신경 유전자 전사를 억제하는 전사 억제 단백질입니다.
mSin3 및 CoREST와 같은 두 가지 코리프레서와 결합하여 히스톤 탈아세틸화효소 복합체를 REST 조절 유전자 프로모터로 유도합니다.
또한 RE1/NRSE 부위에서 BHC 복합체를 모집하여 히스톤의 특정 부위를 탈아세틸화 및 탈메틸화함으로써 크로마틴 변형을 매개합니다.
