Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases are enzymes that charge tRNAs with their cognate amino acids. The HARS2 gene encodes a class II aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase involved in histidyl-transfer RNA synthesis and protein biosynthesis regulation.
Located in a head-to-head orientation with HARS on chromosome 5, the genes share a bidirectional promoter. Mutations in HARS2 are linked to Perrault syndrome, characterized by ovarian dysgenesis and sensorineural hearing loss.
Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants.
