Target Information
CPEB3는 염기서열 특이적 RNA 결합 단백질로, 신경 자극 전에는 번역 억제자로 작용하지만 자극 후에는 번역 활성화 인자로 전환됩니다. CPEB1과 달리 CPE 서열에 결합하지 않고 U-rich loop 구조에 결합합니다. 해마 기반 장기 기억의 공고화 및 유지에 필수적이며, GRIA2, DLG4, GRIN1, GRIN2A, GRIN2B 등의 mRNA 번역을 조절합니다. 또한 TRPV1 및 actin mRNA 번역을 조절하여 정상적인 온도 감각 및 신경 반응 유지에 관여합니다. STAT5B의 전사활성 억제에도 관여하여 EGFR 발현 조절을 통해 학습 및 기억 능력 향상에 기여합니다. CPEB1, CPEB2, CPEB4와 달리 세포주기 진행에는 필요하지 않습니다.
