Target Information
IFITM1 (Interferon inducible transmembrane protein 1)는 IFN-inducible transmembrane protein family에 속하는 단백질로, 인터페론 감마에 의해 유도되는 항증식 작용의 주요 매개체입니다. 세포 성장 조절에 관여하며, 여러 종양 유형에서 상향 조절되어 종양 바이오마커로 활용될 수 있습니다. Mouse IFITM1 및 IFITM3는 발생 단계적으로 조절되는 방식으로 원시 생식 세포 표면에 발현됩니다. IFITM1 활성은 원시 생식 세포 이동에 필요하며, IFITM1은 mesoderm에서 endoderm으로 이동하는 과정에서 IFITM1을 발현하지 않는 세포를 반발시키는 역할을 합니다.
