Target Information
CD21 (complement receptor 2, CR2, C3D receptor, EBV receptor)는 C3 보체 단편과 결합하며, 면역복합체의 흡수 및 유지, 기억 B세포 생존, T-의존 항원에 대한 체액성 면역 반응 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 Epstein-Barr 바이러스의 주요 수용체로 작용하며, 프라이온을 여포 수지상세포로 전달하는 과정에 관여합니다. CD21은 C3d, C3dg, iC3b, EBV, IFNα와 결합하며, CD23, CD19, CD81, Leu13과 함께 B세포 활성화 관련 신호전달 복합체를 형성합니다. CD21 유전자의 변이는 전신성 홍반루푸스(SLEB9) 감수성과 연관되어 있으며, 다양한 스플라이싱 변이체가 보고되었습니다.
