Target Information
CD35 (CR1, Complement Receptor 1)는 세포막에 결합된 단량체 당단백질로, 보체계의 주요 구성 요소인 C3b 및 C4b의 세포 수용체 역할을 합니다.
이 단백질은 보체가 활성화된 입자 및 면역복합체의 세포 결합을 매개하며, 4가지 동형(C, A, B, D; 각각 160, 190, 220, 250 kDa)을 가집니다.
CD35는 면역복합체 처리, C3b 복합체의 결합 및 식작용 촉진, 보체 활성 억제에 관여합니다.
주요 발현 세포는 호중구, 호산구, 단핵구, B세포, 일부 NK세포, 적혈구, 골수성 백혈병 세포, 여포 수지상세포이며, 호염기구에서는 음성입니다.
CD35 단백질 발현 감소나 유전자 변이는 담낭암, 메산지오모세포성 사구체신염, 전신홍반루푸스, 사르코이드증과 연관되어 있으며, 말라리아 원충(Plasmodium falciparum) 감염 저항성과도 관련된 것으로 보고되었습니다.
여러 대립유전자 특이적 스플라이스 변이체 및 분비형 형태도 보고되었습니다.
