The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is one of the eight subunits of COP9 signalosome, a highly conserved protein complex that regulates multiple signaling pathways. Its structure and function are similar to the 19S regulatory particle of the 26S proteasome. COP9 signalosome interacts with SCF-type E3 ubiquitin ligases and acts as a positive regulator of E3 ubiquitin ligases. This protein belongs to the translation initiation factor 3 superfamily, involved in cell cycle regulation and may serve as a cellular cofactor for HIV-1 accessory gene product Vpr.
