MA5-17446 targets CD4 in FACS applications and shows reactivity with Mouse samples.
The MA5-17446 immunogen is CD4 (L3/T4) antigen.

Target Information

The CD4 antigen is involved in the recognition of MHC class II molecules and acts as a co-receptor for HIV.
CD4 is primarily expressed in T helper cells but can also be found in monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells.
Tissue-level expression includes thymus, lymph nodes, tonsils, spleen, and specific regions of the brain and gut.
CD4 aids in early T-cell activation via association with the T-cell receptor complex and Lck kinase.
It may also mediate neuronal damage in infectious and immune-related CNS diseases.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcripts have been identified (RefSeq, July 2017).
