Target Information
SIRT7는 효모 Sir2 단백질과 상동성을 가지는 sirtuin 단백질군의 구성원으로, sirtuin core domain을 특징으로 하며 IV 클래스에 속합니다. 인간 sirtuin의 기능은 아직 완전히 규명되지 않았으나, 효모 sirtuin은 후성유전적 유전자 침묵 조절과 rDNA 재조합 억제에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 연구 결과에 따르면 인간 SIRT7은 세포 내 조절 단백질로서 mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase 활성을 가질 수 있습니다.
