Target Information
CCDC22는 coiled-coil domain을 포함하는 단백질로, calcium-dependent membrane-binding protein인 copine과 결합하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. Rat에서는 뇌의 여러 영역(전전두엽, 체감각 피질, 치상회, 시상 등)과 좌측 척수 운동 뉴런에서 발현되어 신경 손상 반응에 관여할 가능성이 제시되었습니다. 인간 CCDC22 유전자는 X-linked intellectual disability (XLID)와 관련된 새로운 후보 유전자로 보고되었습니다.
