Target Information
CCDC22는 coiled-coil domain을 포함하는 단백질로, calcium-dependent membrane-binding protein인 copine과 결합하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. Rat에서 CCDC22는 뇌의 여러 영역(전전두엽, 체감각 피질, 치상회, 시상 등)과 좌측 척수 운동 뉴런에서 발현되며, 신경 손상 반응에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다. 인간 CCDC22 유전자는 syndromic X-linked intellectual disability (XLID)의 후보 유전자로 보고되었습니다.
