Target Information
이 유전자는 부갑상선 호르몬(parathyroid hormone) 계열 단백질의 일원으로, 전구체(preproprotein)가 절단되어 활성 단백질을 형성합니다. 생성된 단백질은 PTH/PTHrP 수용체에 결합하여 혈중 칼슘 및 인산 농도를 조절합니다.
과도한 생산(부갑상선 기능항진증)은 고칼슘혈증 및 신장 결석을 유발할 수 있으며, 반대로 결함 있는 처리(부갑상선 기능저하증)는 저칼슘혈증 및 감각 이상을 초래할 수 있습니다.
