This antibody detects endogenous levels of total Prostate Stem Cell Antigen (PSCA).
Target Information
PSCA (Prostate Stem Cell Antigen) is a cell surface antigen overexpressed in approximately 40% of primary prostate cancers and up to 100% of metastatic cases. It is also highly expressed in transitional cell and pancreatic carcinomas. Antibodies against PSCA have been shown to inhibit tumorigenesis, slow tumor growth, prolong survival, and prevent metastasis in preclinical xenograft models, suggesting potential utility as a prognostic marker and/or therapeutic target in prostate cancer.
