Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Iron-sulfur (Fe-S) clusters are essential for several mitochondrial enzymes and other subcellular proteins. These clusters contain sulfur and iron and are synthesized through steps involving cysteine desulfurases, iron donors, chaperones, and scaffold proteins.
The ISCU gene encodes two isomeric forms, ISCU1 and ISCU2, which serve as Fe-S cluster scaffold proteins. Mutations in this gene are associated with myopathy characterized by severe exercise intolerance and myoglobinuria.
