Background
Mouse HLA class II histocompatibility antigen gamma chain (CD74)는 단일 통과형 type II 막 글라이코프로틴으로, 1개의 thyroglobulin type-1 도메인을 포함합니다. Mouse CD74는 인간 및 랫트 CD74와 각각 75%, 88%의 아미노산 서열 유사성을 가집니다. CD74는 적응 면역, 염증, 암에서 중요한 역할을 하며, MHC class II 항원 처리 과정에서 알파/베타 이합체의 안정화 및 수송을 조절합니다. 또한 CD44와 결합하고, 사이토카인 MIF와 높은 친화도로 결합하여 염증성 백혈구 반응, 조직 섬유화 억제, B세포 생존 신호, 혈관신생 인자 발현 조절 등에 관여합니다.
