Background
Galectin-1은 진화적으로 보존된 동물 렉틴 계열의 단백질로, 다양한 세포와 조직에서 발현됩니다. Galectin-1은 Galectin 도메인과 두 개의 β-galactoside 결합 도메인을 포함하며, LGALS3BP와 결합하고 CD2, CD3, CD4, CD7, CD43, CD45와 상호작용합니다. 자가분비 음성 성장 인자로서 세포 사멸, 증식, 분화를 조절하며 면역억제 및 항염증 작용에도 중요한 역할을 합니다.
