This antibody detects endogenous levels of total FGFR1OP protein.
Target Information
The FGFR1OP gene encodes a largely hydrophilic protein, considered a member of the leucine-rich protein family. A chromosomal translocation t(6;8)(q27;p11) fusing FGFR1OP and FGFR1 has been observed in myeloproliferative disorders. The resulting chimeric protein combines the N-terminal leucine-rich region of FGFR1OP with the catalytic domain of FGFR1. This gene is implicated in normal proliferation and differentiation of erythroid lineage cells. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different proteins have been identified.
