Target Information
GARS (Glycyl-tRNA synthetase) is an enzyme that charges tRNAs with glycine, belonging to the class II family of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases. It forms an (α)₂ dimer and has been identified as a target of autoantibodies in autoimmune diseases such as polymyositis and dermatomyositis.
