Target Information
BRCC45는 처음에는 뇌와 생식 기관에서 높게 발현되는 하우스키핑 단백질로 제안되었습니다. 이후 연구에서 BRCC45가 BRCA1, BRCA2, RAD51, BRCC36과 복합체를 형성하여 유비퀴틴 E3 리가아제 활성을 가지며, DNA 손상 후 세포 생존을 향상시키는 것으로 밝혀졌습니다. 또한 BRCC45는 BID 유도 미토콘드리아 세포사멸 경로를 억제하여 항-아폽토시스 단백질로 작용할 수 있습니다. 대부분의 간세포암에서 높은 수준의 BRCC45가 검출되었으며, 과발현 시 종양 형성을 촉진할 가능성이 있습니다. BRCC45의 최소 세 가지 아이소폼이 알려져 있습니다.
