SKI8 is a component of the PAF and SKI complex, which includes SKI2, SKI3, and SKI8. These complexes are involved in transcriptional regulation and RNA synthesis-related processes. Interaction of the SKI complex with SKI7 links it to the exosome for mRNA degradation.
