The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
KIR3DL1 (Killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor 3DL1) belongs to the KIR family, which consists of transmembrane glycoproteins expressed on natural killer cells and subsets of T cells.
KIR genes are polymorphic and clustered on chromosome 19q13.4 within the leukocyte receptor complex (LRC).
KIR proteins are categorized by the number of extracellular immunoglobulin domains (2D or 3D) and by the length of their cytoplasmic domain (L for long, S for short).
Proteins with long cytoplasmic domains mediate inhibitory signals via ITIM motifs, while short-domain proteins associate with TYRO protein tyrosine kinase binding protein to transmit activating signals.
Ligands for several KIR proteins are subsets of HLA class I molecules, playing a crucial role in immune regulation.
