Target Information
This gene encodes one of seven subunits of the human Arp2/3 protein complex. The Arp2/3 complex plays a role in actin polymerization control and is conserved through evolution. The p34 subunit's exact role remains under investigation. Two alternatively spliced variants have been characterized, with additional variants described but not fully determined.
