Target Information
Leucine-rich, glioma inactivated gene 1 (LGI1)는 처음에는 교모세포종의 후보 종양 억제 유전자로 확인되었으며, 다른 암에서도 역할을 할 수 있습니다. LGI1은 leucine-rich repeats(LRRs)를 포함하는 단백질 패밀리의 구성원으로, 막 신호 전달 분자 및 수용체와 유사합니다. LGI1은 시냅스에 위치한 금속단백질분해효소 ADAM22의 리간드로 작용합니다. LGI1의 돌연변이는 자가우성 측두엽 간질(ADTLE) 사례의 약 절반을 차지하며, 청각 증상이 두드러진 국소 발작을 특징으로 합니다. 두 가지 LGI1 아이소폼이 알려져 있습니다.
