Target Information
HAUS6 is one of eight subunits of the 390-kDa human augmin complex (HAUS complex). The augmin complex was first identified in Drosophila, and its name originates from the Latin verb augmentare, meaning "to increase."
This microtubule-binding complex is involved in microtubule generation within the mitotic spindle and is essential for mitotic spindle assembly (Goshima et al., 2008; Uehara et al., 2009).
