Carboxypeptidase A4(CPA4)는 carboxypeptidase A/B 서브패밀리에 속하는 아연 함유 exopeptidase로, C-말단 아미노산을 절단하는 효소입니다. 이 단백질은 zymogen 형태로 합성되어 프로테아제 절단을 통해 활성화됩니다. 또한 histone hyperacetylation 경로에 관여할 수 있으며, 전립선암의 공격성과 관련된 후보 단백질로 제시된 바 있습니다.
