Target Information
CAZIP, also known as TIP150, contains a leucine-zipper domain at the C-terminus and has at least three isoforms. It is expressed in the heart during early cardiac development and in parts of the nervous system in later embryonic development. CAZIP binds microtubules and facilitates EB1-dependent loading of MCAK onto microtubule plus ends, orchestrating their dynamic behavior. It may regulate microtubule dynamics at their growing distal tips.
