Target Information
FLT1 (VEGFR1)는 혈관신생(angiogenesis)에 중요한 역할을 하는 수용체 티로신 키나아제입니다.
활성화된 혈관신생은 종양 진행, 당뇨병성 망막병증, 류머티즘성 관절염, 상처 치유 등 다양한 병리학적 및 생리학적 과정에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
FLT1은 내피세포의 과도한 증식을 억제하여 배아기 혈관신생의 음성 조절자로 작용할 수 있으며, 성체에서는 내피세포의 증식, 생존, 혈관신생을 촉진할 수 있습니다.
또한 VEGFA에 대한 높은 결합 친화성과 낮은 단백질 키나아제 활성을 가지며, VEGFA 신호를 조절하여 자유 VEGFA의 양을 제한하고 KDR과의 결합을 방지함으로써 VEGFA 신호 전달의 음성 조절자로 작용할 수 있습니다.
